Pickups will be early to catch up the ferry for a scenic crossing to Barra on the North Bank.
We are expecting to be sharing the ferry with domestic animals: like cows, sheep’s and vehicles.
Driving continues to the The Gambia and Senegal border for passport formalities before driving to Fathala Lodge. After having our lunch at the lodge we will enjoy a scenic boat trip along the delta of Saloum. After the boat trip, guests can choose between a visit of an African family or just a relaxing time at the pool enjoying the sunset.
A set menu dinner will be served at the lodge.
After breakfast we will drive in to the reserve, where you can enjoy the natural environment of the bush and get the chance to spot animals such as zebras, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, bush pigs and crocodiles. After touring within the park for approximately 2 hours we will be having pizza as our lunch before driving back to Barra to catch the ferry. Pizza of your choice can be order before starting the Safari.
