An early pick up from your hotel is needed to catch up the ferry for an interesting crossing from Banjul to Barra on the North Bank of the Country. After we drive across the north of the country to the Gambian and Senegal border, where we will do our passport formalities, before driving to Les Paletuvier in Toubacouta for lunch.
After lunch you will get the information for the boat trip which will be later on.
This boat trip will take you for a lovely cruise into the mangrove creek. The island of Sippo still remains hardly untouched and still has ancient and cultural heritage. Here you will get a chance to see the Queen of the island whom is the lady head of the isle.
The boat trip goes on from Sippo Island and brings you back to your hotel. After guests can join the guide for a family visit in one of the close by villages or just relax at the pool.
Dinner and overnight at les paletuvier hotel.
Breakfast will be served around 8am. After check out, you will leave your hotel driving to Fathala Game Park a nature reserve near Toubacouta.
After ordering your choice of pizza, we will have an approximately 2 hours’ drive through the Park. In the reserve, you can enjoy the natural environment of the bush and get the chance to spot animals like; zebras, rhinoceros, giraffes, monkeys and many more.
After lunch at the nature reserve, we head to the Ferry terminal in Barra for our crossing to Banjul. After the crossing to Banjul we head to your respective Hotels.

I would like to thank Gambia Tours for their great hospitality and service especially as a woman who customized a private trip alone to Senegal from The Gambia by road. Both the driver Abdulie and guide Pa makan were very respectful, flexible, friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and took good care of my safety. Our vacation was great! Senegambia hotel was very good, the food was great and the weather was great. All of the transfers and vouchers were no problem at all. The trip was absolutely seamless. All Gambia Tours services were excellent as well. I would recommend your services to anyone. Hope to return someday, perhaps when something special is offered. Thanks again for your help.
